With the Cappers

 In Canterbury, we visited with our dear friends, Brian Capper, recently retired from the university faculty at Canterbury, Irena Marie Rieband, horn player we met in Romania in 2009, and their son Theomel, age 6. What a pleasure it was to spend a couple of days with them and visit them in their home!

During the two days before the Crescendo Summer Institute begins, there is a program called Sostenuto, primarily for Institute faculty and staff. There are get-acquainted sessions, prayer, worship, and speakers. This year, Sostenuto is being led by Kristen Van Dyck, who is staff for Crescendo North America. She spoke movingly Friday evening, introducing the conference theme, “Dew from Heaven”, Hosea 14:5.
